Susan B. Chapman's Obituary
Susan B. Chapman (nee Cochran), age 85, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Sunday, November 20,2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Webster Springs, WV and had been a resident of Sheffield Lake for the past 50 years, formerly of Lakewood. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and caring for others. She worked for the Sheffield Lake Community Center for the government food program for the needy. She was Sheffield Lake Woman of the Year. Susan was very active in the community and was part of the Friends & Neighbors and Welcome Wagon Programs. She is survived by her husband of 65 years William; son William “Bill” Mark Chapman (Pamela Weidner); grandchildren Zach, Josh and Adam Weidner; sister Ann Vance; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Sue Chapman, parents Beverly and Ethel Cochran; sisters Beulah Cochran, Luella Tennant; brother Edsel Cochran. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Deacon Tom McCourt will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
