Steven L. Varner's Obituary
Steven L. Varner, age 56, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at St. John Medical Center in Westlake. He was born in Elyria and had been a longtime resident of North Ridgeville. Steve was a Journeyman Carpenter for over 30 years for both residential and commercial construction, and for the last 14 years with Carpenter Local 435. Steve loved his family more than words can describe and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his girls. He loved big holiday dinners, going out to eat, spending time at the zoo, and the mall. His favorite pastimes were watching sports, the Green Bay Packers were his team, collecting and playing video games, and family vacations traveling to any destination.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri (nee Vanover), daughters, Angel Varner (Jaden Moreno) and Candice Varner both of North Ridgeville, mother, Marva Jean Varner of North Ridgeville, brother, William (Dawn) Varner of Elyria, sisters, Donna (Jonathan) Vega of North Ridgeville, Denna (Luis) Correa of North Ridgeville, mother-in-law, Leota Vanover of North Ridgeville, brothers-in-law, Thomas (Stephanie) Vanover of Cleveland, James (Judy) Vanover of North Ridgeville, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Varner and father-in-law, Orvil Vanover.
Services will be private.
