Steven W. Thomas' Obituary
Steven W. Thomas, age 52, of Olmsted Twp., passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, following a long illness.
He was born in North Olmsted and moved to Olmsted Twp. earlier this year from North Ridgeville, where is resided for 20 years.
Steven worked as a cement finisher for Anthony Allega Cement Contractor for 15 years, retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, was a great skater who played hockey, built go carts and mini bikes for his children and was an all around Mr. Fix it.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Anne (nee Barr); daughter, Kimberly Thomas of North Olmsted; step-sons, Christopher (Tonya) Orear of Columbia Station, Matthew (Alicia) Orear and Timothy (Stephanie) Orear both of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Daniel and Brayden Orear; mother, Joan Thomas of North Olmsted; sister, Deborah (Ken) Ptak of Berea; brother, Gerald Thomas Jr. of Massillon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald L. Thomas.
Friends may call Wednesday from 3 PM until the time of memorial service at 4 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens, will officiate.
