I met Steve 11 years ago. He would do anything for you. Plus give you a hard time depending on his mood. He comes over to our department to check on us girls (when we know he is just looking for food. LOL) We know better. He has to have hot sauce on everything he eats, the hotter the better. We always know what to get him for the Holidays. Steve talks about his trips with his brothers and the stories OH MY!! funny. He is so proud of his daughter and granddaughter he speaks of them with a huge smile on his face. His smile and laugh can be contagious. He tells us about chasing trains, (who does that?) and talks with such enthusiasm about it that it makes you want to listen. He is a wonderful person and kind hearted. He has a love for animals that he came to tell me that when he cuts the grass he has to dodge the frogs in fear of hitting them. He donates to my rescue and always asks how my critters are doing. He takes the time to sit and listen to my stories about my critters and humors me. I love that in a person. Someone who listens, what a concept, LOL. Jackie you are a very lucky lady to have someone so wonderful, funny and caring. I am glad to have Steve as a friend. Thank you for sharing.
As you have noticed I did not write this in a past- tense because Steve has not left us he is here in our thoughts and our heart. Every time we talk about hot sauce, trains, animals and motorcycles Steve will be there.
To the family: you are all in my thoughts
