Sophie Arzuaga's Obituary
Sophie Arzuaga (nee Ramos), age 64 of North Ridgeville died Sunday, November 19, 2006 at her home following a long Illness.
She was born October 15, 1942 in Yauco, Puerto Rico. She had resided in North Ridgeville the past six years.. She previously lived in Cleveland and Fairview Park.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville. She enjoyed playing bingo at the North Ridgeville Senior Center.
Mrs. Arzuaga worked as a loan originator for National City Bank.
Surviving are three daughters, Stephanie Persic ( Andrew ) of Valley City, Katherine "Kate" Arzuaga of North Ridgeville, and Elisa McKinney ( Josh ) of Center Ridge, Arkansas; three sons, Jose Arzuaga, II of Olmsted Falls, Steven Arzuaga ( Debi ) of North Ridgeville, and Jaime Arzuaga ( Angel ) of Toledo; twelve grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Caraballo of Brookpark, OH and Maria Luisa Witt of North Olmsted.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Arzuaga in 1990; daughter Carmen Arzuaga in May of this year, sisters, Aurelia Ramos, Benilda Orengo, and Iris Ramos; brothers, Mike Quinones, Radamas Ramos, Antonio Ramos, Rafael Ramos, and Ricky Ramos.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Wednesday. A 10:00 AM Mass will follow at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
