Shirley J. Paulus' Obituary
Shirley J. Paulus (nee Nuspl), age 78, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
She was born on November 24, 1944 in Ravenna, beloved wife of the late Mark of 51 years and was a longtime resident of North Ridgeville. She was an active member at St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville, where she was part of the Pre Cana and Marriage Encounter programs. In her free time, Shirley enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her sons Chris Paulus of Strongsville, Jeff (Kristene) Paulus of Broadview Heights and Jack (Amy Likar) Paulus of San Miguel de Allende, MX; dear grandmother of Ashley Wagner (Zachary), Michelle Marousek (Jack), Benjamin, Hannah and Josh; Beloved great-grandmother of Carson Marousek; brother Dr. Michael Nuspl and sister Joanne Drake.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Mark Paulus; parents Joseph and Ann (nee Tilnyak) Nuspl and sister Mariann Nuspl.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.) Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Services will be live streamed on St. Peter's website at www.stpeternr.org. Interment will follow in St. Peter cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Peter Church.
