Shirley Jean Firestone's Obituary
Shirley Jean Firestone (nee Bell), age 67, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
She was born on May 25, 1955 in Chicago, IL and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 44 years. She worked in food service for AVI Foodsystems, retiring in 2004.
Shirley was an avid reader and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She and her husband Don would spend winters together in Florida, enjoying the time there with friends they met over the years. The summer months would find her tending to her flowers. Spending time with her family was what brought her the most joy in life.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 47 years, Don; daughter Tammy (Dan) Davis of North Ridgeville, grandsons Eric Jr. (Ericka) Firestone and Tyler Davis; brother Clint (Mary) Bell; mother-in-law A. Shirley Firestone; sisters-in-law Terri (Jeff) Hall and LuAnn Light; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Eric Firestone Sr.; granddaughter Carmen Firestone; parents Harry and Eloise (nee Morrison) Bell.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Buck Wilford will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
