Shirley M. Fayer's Obituary
Shirley M. Fayer (nee Wilhelmy), age 88, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Rose Senior Living in Avon.
She was born in Elyria and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville.
Shirley and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, where she was active with St. Peter PTU and the Altar & Rosary Society.
She enjoyed baking, crafts, gardening, canning and freezing, sewing, dancing and working in her garden.
Survivors include her daughters, Debby Fayer of Middleburg Hts., Denise Fayer of North Ridgeville; son, Ron Fayer of North Carolina; grandchildren, Valerie, Jeremy, Laurie, Dustin and Alisha; many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Olga Wilhelmy.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, parents, Edward and Gertrude (nee Riegelsberger) Wilhelmy; sisters, Ruth Janis, Jane Wise, G. Faith Smith, Edna Barnes; brothers, Donald and Roy Wilhelmy.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:30AM followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. Rev. Andrew Hoover will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
