Shirley A. Coughlin's Obituary
Shirley A. Coughlin (nee Pelot), age 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016, at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake.
Born in Bath, Ohio, she had resided in North Ridgeville since moving from Columbia Station in 1982. Shirley retired in 2012 from Giant Eagle in North Ridgeville where she worked in the kitchen for many years. She had previously worked for Kenny Kings Restaurant.
Shirley enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan, and enjoyed spectating youth sporting events.
Survivors include her son Craig (Julie) Coughlin of Amherst; daughter Heather (Robert) Hughart of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Sean, Gabriella, and Brendan; brothers Harry (Bernyce) Pelot of North Ridgeville, Leroy Pelot of Wadsworth, and David (Barbara) Pelot of Chagrin Falls; sisters Kathleen Pelot of North Ridgeville, Betty Study of Brunswick, Doris Bright of Port Richey, FL, Patsy Williamson of New Port Richey, FL, Barbara (David) Fulcher of Sebastian, FL, and Anita (Joseph) Gyurko of Middleburg Heights; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John, infant daughter Kelly, and parents Merle and Thelma Pelot.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Fr. Robert Franco will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
