Sherri Tremaine's Obituary
Sherri D. L. Tremaine, (nee Breastler) age 71, of Avon Lake, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 11, 2007 at her home.
Born in San Francisco, California, she grew up in Oregon. She had resided in Avon Lake for the past 20 years having moved from Lorain.
Mrs. Tremaine served in the US Marine Corp.
She was a Life member of Veteran's of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 9871 where she was past Secretary; she was a Life Member and past Grand President of Military Order of the Cooties Ladies Auxiliary and served 10 year as secretary of Lorain County Council, She was also a Life member of VFW National Home For Children in Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Nelson D. "Sleepy" Tremaine; one son Shawn Johnson and daughter Ronna Lee both of Oregon, step son David Tremaine of Elyria Twp., step daughter, Anna Marie Young of New London, 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Friends may call 7-9 PM Thursday at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville where the Ladies Aux. Of VFW Post 9871 will conduct a service at 7:30 PM Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Friday in the funeral home.
