Shawna Lea Spann's Obituary
Shawna Lea Spann, age 40, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born on May 4, 1978 in Red Oak, Iowa and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 30 years. She worked for many years as a State Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing care facility.
Shawna was always a big hearted and giving person, who loved children. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. Her passion was going to concerts, taking long drives and watching scary movies. Shawna’s favorite holiday was Halloween, and she embraced the holiday extensively by decorating for the trick or treaters and throughout her home.
She is survived by her daughter SheaLea (Justin Robinson) of Powell; son Kaden of North Ridgeville; granddaughter Hayden Belle; sister Mary (Richard) Dawson; brother Charles Samuel Spann III (Amanda Hager); niece Emma Hager; nephews Carter and Charlie Spann and Mason Dawson.
Shawna was preceded in death by her parents Charles Samuel Jr. and Sandra Elizabeth (nee Dean) Spann.
Memorial Service Wednesday, June 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd., Ste. 380, Independence, OH 44131.
