I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Sharon. My condolences to the family. I remember Sharon as a sweet quiet friend.
McElhaney family, Sharon was such a part of our lives growing up, she was like an older sister.
Rosie was a like a grandmother to us also. We sure do miss seeing all of you. Talking today on the phone we were remembering all the good times we shared and Sharon was so much fun to be around always teasing and pulling a prank on someone, I can still hear her laugh.
I just wanted you to know that we share in your sorrow but find confort that she is with God and we will all be together someday.

Don and Mary,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Love to you,
Your family at IHOP Elyria
Don and Family,
Your mother cared for my child since she was a baby. I am Abby's mother. We were blessed to know such a loving and kind hearted woman. She treated Abby like one of her own and I am forever greatful for the impact she had in our lives. She will be missed.
Don, although we have never met, I have to share with you the impact your mother has made on my Daughter Abby. Sharon has been a part of Abby?s life almost since the day she was born. Sharon and Janice have helped raise her into the type of person I myself would like to be. From the love and knowledge that Sharon has given my Daughter over the years, I know that a part of her will live on in Abby?s heart and memories for years to come. My deepest sympathy to you and yours in this time of grief.

Brianna and Dustin, We know that you were so very special to your Nanny Sharon. She loved you with her whole heart and was so proud of you both. Keep the memory of her laugh and smile with you always.
Don and Mary Ann, You made Sharon the happiest grandma in the world. She was always sharing stories about Brianna and Dustin. May those memories help you during this difficult time.
Sharon and I were in the same classes at N. Ridgeville High...I often wondered over the years where they all were...Her sister,Betty and I had our pictures in the newspaper together when we were 6 yrs old and I still have that picuture.
We all use to hang out together and were like family back then.
Sharon was a good friend and neighbor...She will be missed..
God be with you all and your loved ones to Celebrate the life and laughter Sharon brought into your lives...
Don- only God knows why your mother/my sister was called to Heaven at this young age.
I will miss the phone calls reminding me to arrange a special time with you, Mary Ann, Brianna and Dustin during the Christmas season. The 2008 family reunion was not the same due to her illness.I will miss receiving my reminder calls regarding future family reunions.
A great family reunion took place in heaven on August 5. Uncle David loves you.
I will miss my grandma very much. She loved me and my brother Dustin very much. She had a special place in my heart. She bought me a really cool bike before she passed away. I will keep that forever. She was a great grandma to me.I miss her very much.
Aunt Sharon moved in with my parents when I was a senior in high school. From then until her passing, she was an especially big part of my life. She had a great sense of humor- even when I pulled pranks on her. She loved to laugh. She loved my children as if they were her own grandchildren. She laughed when Andrew called her "Nini Noodle Yankee Doodle."
I appreciate all of the things that she did for me and my family. She was a faithful babysitter- and never seemed to be put off when we asked her to watch the kids. She never missed a birthday party for them. The world is a lesser place without her.
