Sharon Darlene Huckleberry's Obituary
Sharon Darlene Huckleberry (nee Johnson), age 81, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 2 1/2 years, moving from Elyria.
Sharon found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and the photos of them that she adorned her home with. In conversations immediately following her passing, one thought was shared by all she loved, whichever family member was being criticized, she was on their side. This was particularly true even if you were wrong. She always defended the underdog
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Leon, children, Tammy Deely (Bryan Williamson) of Sheffield Village, David (Kathy) Huckleberry of Knoxville, Tennessee, Peter Huckleberry of Avon Lake, Susan Huckleberry of North Ridgeville, Michael Huckleberry of Elyria, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Johnson, stepmother, Irene Johnson, sons-in-law, Matthew Deely and Mitchell Hogue.
All services will be private.
