Sandra Thimke's Obituary
Sandra "Sandy" J. Thimke (nee Miller), age 66, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, October 7, 2009, following a short illness.
She was born in Amherst and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1970 moving from Elyria.
Mrs. Thimke worked in the cafeteria of North Ridgeville Middle School for 20 years, retiring in 2004.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic church, North Ridgeville.
Sandra enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; sons, Bradley (Heidi nee Helvorson) of Elyria, Rodney (Stacy nee Prenger) of Norwalk, Brandon (Nicole nee Zsigo) of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Stephanie, Michelle, Bradley Jr., Isaac and Owen; brothers, Thomas (Sue) Miller and Michael (Lee) Miller bother of Elyria; sisters, Sherill (Tom) Smith of Moneta, VA, Connie McMurray of Wilmington, NC and Debbie (Gene) Gentry of Louiseville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Miller and parents, Clyde and Mary Jane (nee Murray) Miller.
Friends may call Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home where prayer services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM followed by a 11:00 AM mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
