Sandra E. Spann's Obituary
Sandra E. Spann (nee Dean), age 66, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at St. Johns Medical Center, after a brief illness.
She was born in Frankfort, KY and had been a resident of Evansville, IN before moving to North Ridgeville in 1987. Sandra had worked as a customer service representative for Lakeshore Community Credit Union before retiring in 2010.
Sandra was an avid reader and enjoyed cross stitching, she had also been involved in the Girl scouts, but most of all, Sandra loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Charles “Sam” (Amanda Hager) Spann III of Dublin, OH; daughters, Shawna Spann of North Ridgeville and Mary Dawson of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, SheaLea, Kaden and Carter Spann, Mason Dawson and Emma Hager; sisters, Karen (Richard) Coppoletti, Alma (Roger) Sorensen and Rebecca Mendorff; brothers, D. Michael (Dianne) Dean and L. Patrick (Patty) Dean.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Spann Jr. in 2010; and her parents Leo Morris and Alma Louise (nee Engelbrecht) Dean.
Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 24 at 11am at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church 5500 Lear Nagle Rd, North Ridgeville, Father George Vrabel will officiate. Friends may call from 10am until the time of mass at 11am at the church.
