Sandra Joyce Shupp's Obituary
Sandra Joyce Shupp (nee Tomasheski), age 86, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Brookdale Westlake Village. She was born March 2, 1939, in Elyria to parents Alexander Tomasheski and Eugena Tomasheski (nee Leshinski). Sandee has lived in North Ridgeville for the past 58 years and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She worked as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at the Lorain County Blood Bank and retired in 1987. In her spare time, you would find Sandee reading, visiting the library, cross-stitching, spending time with her grandchildren, Emma, Ashton, Joey and Alex. Sandee was also a member of the Ladies Auxilary at the United Polish Club of Elyria.
Sandee is survived by her son, Joel M.(Shannon) Shupp; daughter Shelley Shupp; siblings Janice, Marlene, Paulette, Tom, Gene; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joel W. Shupp; father Alexander Tomasheski; mother Eugenia Tomasheski (nee Leshinski); and sister Phyllis Stydnicki.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, with mass to follow at St. Peter’s Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, at 12:00 PM. Immediately following the church service, please join our family for a light meal and fellowship at the Bogner Life Celebration Center. This will be a time to share stories, offer comfort, and remember the joy Sandee brought to our lives.
