Sandra Shook's Obituary
Sandra J. Shook, 61, of Elyria, died Thursday, February 16, 2006 at her home following a long illness. She was born November 3, 1944 in Portage, PA, and had been a resident of Elyria for the past thirty years.
She was a member of Elyria Women of the Moose Chapter 907, and Elyria Eagle Aerie
#431.
Surviving are three daughters, Donna Woods and Tracey Cope, both of Columbus, and Tammy Webber of Elyria; son, Matthew Galati of Elyria; six grandchildren; seven sisters, Bunny McCrory, Sevilla Bernow, Janet Sayers, Doris Heise, Ruby Endo, Connie Dekevac, and Linda Briggs; many cousins; lifetime friends; and her adopted family of Dom, Mary, and special sis of Grace, Leo, and Joey.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Rice, half-sister, Dolly Balacz-Wonznik, and mother-in-law Dorothy Shook.
Friends will be received at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8PM, where services will be held at 11AM on Monday. Rev. Tim Holt of Lakeshore Community Church, Huron, will officiate. Burial to follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twshp.
