Samuel N. Thou's Obituary
Samuel N. Thou, age 89, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the O'Neill Healthcare Center in North Ridgeville. He was born on October 12, 1933 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 45 years, moving from Cleveland. He worked as a Maintenance Manager for Gemini Towers, retiring in 2018. Samuel was very involved in horse racing, owning many harness racing horses over the years and was a member of the Ohio Harness Horseman's Association. He was a dog lover and found his greatest joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Samuel is survived by his daughters Cheryl Kaditz of MN and Ramona Cartwright of North Ridgeville; son Gary (Kari) Preteroti of Westlake; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie; sons Joseph, Mark, Sam; daughter Linda; parents Samuel and Hilda Thou; brother Abraham; sister Norma.
Funeral service Tuesday, October 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
