Samuel F Armao's Obituary
Samuel F. Armao, age 98, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully Friday, January 5, 2024, at Legacy Nursing Home in Willoughby. He was born in Shillington, PA and had lived in North Ridgeville since 1976 formerly of Cleveland Hts. He worked as an accountant for Turner Construction for 31 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of the US Navy serving on The Radford, Ware, and Indiana in WWII and Korea, Shepard of the Ridge Church, and the American Legion Post 421. He enjoyed traveling and buying and selling postcards. Sam is survived by his wife of 70 years Margaret (nee Klese); sons Richard (Carol) Armao of Concord Tsp. Robert (Ruth) Armao of Indianapolis; grandchildren Brandon, Tyler, Chelsae. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel F. and Kathryn E. Luken; brother Richard Armao. Services will be private for immediate family only. Pastor Paul Pater will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon with full military honors by VFW.
