Sally Burgett's Obituary
Sally Burgett, age 82, of Oberlin, passed away on July 3, 2017 at Welcome Nursing Home.
She was born in Lakewood, Ohio and had been a resident of Oberlin for the past 7 years moving from North Ridgeville.
Sally was the former co-owner of North Olmsted Beverage and a former member of the Elyria Women’s Club. She previously worked at Value City in Elyria. Sally enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Doris Stanley of Oberlin and Marie (Mike) Trivett of Cleveland; sons, Ray (Gina) of Elyria and Tom of Elyria; sisters, Norma Uhelin of Elyria and Edith (Robert) Schaffer of Elyria; brother, Ed (Shirley) Loescher of California; a sister-in-law, Carol Loescher of Elyria; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sabina (nee Eiden) Loescher; a sister, Karen Gulliksen; and a brother, Donald Loescher.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7th, 2017 at 11:00 am. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
A celebration of Sally’s life will continue at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1255 Lowell St, Elyria following the services.
