Ruth Tisza's Obituary
Ruth B. Tisza (nee Bischoff), age 81, of Elyria and formerly of North Ridgeville and Fairview Park, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Southwest General Hospice, Strongsville.
Ruth was born December 21, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles Edward and Helen (nee Hinkle) Bischoff. She married William K. Tisza on August 22, 1953 and he survives.
Also surviving is a son, Jeffery (Carol) Tisza of Reno, NV; daughter, Lynn Tisza of Indianapolis, IN; granddaughter, Lauren Tisza of Reno, NV; and brother, Edward Allan Bischoff of Powell, OH.
Mrs. Tisza obtained her Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from The Ohio State University, Columbus, and taught P.E. at the Ohio State School for the Blind in Columbus for several years. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was active in the Kappa Delta Sorority Alumni and the Cleveland Panhellenic Association. Ruth also enjoyed volunteering with the Fairview Senior Center delivering Meals on Wheels. A memorial service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held on Monday at 12 Noon in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Private interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, Rittman.
