Ruth Price's Obituary
Ruth Price (nee Benko), age 86, passed away on January 6, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Parkersburg, WV after a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 13, 1930 in Lakewood and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 84 years before moving to West Virginia. She worked as a secretary for the North Ridgeville Schools and was a current and founding member of Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church.
Ruth enjoyed reading, baking, walking, and was a very outgoing woman who loved spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Newhart of Marietta: grandchildren, Andy and Hannah Newhart; and her sister, Bette Benko.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert: her son Gregory; brothers, John, Andy, and Eddie Benko; and sister, Lillian Stary.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Services will take place in the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Paul Pater will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd. #380, Independence, OH 44131, or a charity of your choice.
