Ruth Ann Moomey's Obituary
Ruth Ann Moomey, age 73, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.
She was born on December 6, 1948 in Amherst and has been a resident of Elyria for the last 33 years, moving from North Ridgeville. Ruth worked inside sales at a gas service station for many years and was a past parishioner at the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ in North Ridgeville.
Ruth enjoyed crocheting and loved her dog Faye.
She is survived by her children Erik (Carrie) Adams of North Ridgeville, Jordan Adams of Parma Heights and Melinda Adams of North Ridgeville; stepdaughter Tracy (Michael) Victor of Grafton; 9 grandchildren; sisters Deborah (Steve) Ginter of PA and Christine (Charles) Spinger of CO; brother-in-law Kent Madson of FL. Ruth was preceded in death by her Husband Ralph Moomey; parents Herbert and Jean (nee Spoerr) Sennhenn; sister Mary Lou Madson.
Memorial Service Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville where family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Melvin Sayler will officiate. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Friendship APL of Lorain County, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
