Roy "Joe" Ramsey's Obituary
Roy J. “Joe” Ramsey, age 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1957, in Morgantown, West Virginia. He had resided in North Ridgeville for the past 5 years after moving from Columbia Station for 20 years. He was employed at General Motors assembly plant. He retired in 2016 after 38 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. In his free time, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, shopping and collecting model 1/24 scale model cars, watching sports and always helping others. Joe was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church, North Ridgeville. Joe is survived by his wife of 25 years Jackie (née Donovan); mother Dolores Ramsey of Masontown, PA, son Jason (Ashley) Ramsey, daughters Nicole (Lou) Gattozzi, Rachel Ramsey of North Ridgeville, grandchildren Maia Gattozzi, Luca Gattozzi, and Mason Ramsey; many other loving family members. May he rest in God’s loving care.
The family will receive friends Tuesday November 11, 2025, from 3-7 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM. Wednesday followed by 10:00 AM mass at St. Julie Billiart Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Rd, North Ridgeville. Rev. Isidore Munishi will officiate.
