I was a Cleveland Press carrier in the Indian Hills neighborhood in Euclid Ohio during the 1960's. Ross was my Manager and was a great guy. He had a great sense of humor and always took the time to let me know how much he appreciated me. I am now almost 70 and still rebember back to those days, what a great boss I had and how important that route was to my development. Sorry this is so late, last weekend was the Indian Hills reunion which prompted me to look up several people of which Ross was one of. My sincerest sympathies to the family.

I just saw Mr. Maenza's obituary and wanted to share this memory. I was a paper boy in Euclid in the late 60s'?, and Ross was my district supervisor with the Cleveland Press. Every day he would drop off the newspapers, I think near E. 196 & Euclid, and my route was across the street in the apartments. I still remember his laugh, his energy, and his kindness. Mariann, Heli and I are so sorry for your loss. Ross was a great man and we love him so dearly and will miss him. You know, Ross and I always were looking for wood on the side of the road for our wood projects and I learned so much from him. Ross was like a second father to me. We miss sitting next to you two at St, Peters. God Bless Ross and you.

Dear Cousins,
So sorry to hear of Ross's passing. My minds eye can still see the picture taken in 1989 at the Maenza picnic in Solon of the first cousins in attendance standing in a row by age. Carl was first and Ross was second in that row; I followed Ross. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. Savor the memories!
