Rosemary B. Theobald's Obituary
Rosemary B. Theobald (nee Brezovec) age 85, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at her home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Cleveland, where she spent most of her life until recently moving to North Ridgeville.
She worked as an executive secretary for C & O Railroad in the 1950’s.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Westpark for 57 years, where she volunteered as a coach for speech, competing at Magnificat High School. She was also a member of Lakewood College Club for many years. She enjoyed reading and was involved in several book clubs. She loved the performing arts and performed as a Thespian at several local theaters including Lakewood Little Theater/ Becks Center. She was very artistic in making candles and stained glass. She also enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John C.; daughter, Catherine (Tom Gardner) Theobald of Los Angeles, California; sons, John “Ted” Theodore Theobald and Paul (Tanya) Theobald both of North Ridgeville; brother, Thomas Brezovec of Euclid.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Josephine (nee Koenig) Brezovec and sister, Joanne Gilman.
Friends may call Thursday from 3-6PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30AM at St. Mark’s Church, 15800 Montrose Ave., Cleveland. Please meet at the church. Rev. John Miceli, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH.
