Rosemary A. Shaw's Obituary
Rosemary A. Shaw (nee Nepi), age 74, of Avon, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic in Avon.
She was born on March 19, 1943 in Cleveland and has been a resident of Avon for the past 2 years, moving from Brandenburg, KY and North Ridgeville.
Rosemary worked for 17 years as a physical therapy aid at the Oak Ridge Home in Westlake and had also worked as a teacher's aid at St. Peter School in the 1970's.
Her passion was sewing, but she also enjoyed golfing and cooking for her family. The summer months would find Rosemary tending to her flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert D. Shaw; daughters Nancy Shaw of North Ridgeville and Patricia Shaw of New York; son Daniel Shaw of Elyria; grandson Joshua Howard of Columbus; sister Josephine Kobak of Macedonia; brother Joseph Nepi of FL, many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her granddaughter Lucia Bozza, parents Domenick and Nancy (nee Russica) Nepi and sisters Dorothy Fahey and Leona Toler.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Rev. Andrew Hoover will officiate. Inurnment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
