Rose M. Zofchak's Obituary
Rose M. Zofchak (nee Terchick), age 89, of Avon, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at her home, following a short illness.
She was born in Meadow Lands, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Avon for the past 10 years moving from Temple City, California, where she lived for most of her life.
She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.
She was very active at St. Luke’s in Temple City, where she was the director of social services.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Paul) Campbell of Avon; son, Carl D. (Marjorie Taylor) Zofchak of Manitowaning, Manitoulin Island, Ontario; grandchildren, Scott, Eric and Lauren Campbell, Christian Zofchak and Angie Patrick; 8 great-grandchildren, Erika Zofchak, Wesley, Austin, Avery, Abigail, Madison and Olivia Campbell and Amber Mellinger.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 2011; parents, Paul and Rose (nee Sage) Terchick.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremations Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30AM followed by a 10 AM Mass at St. Julie’s Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville.
Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray, Pennsylvania.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
