Rose M. Sawyer's Obituary
Rose Marie Sawyer (nee Coe), age 80, of Elyria, died Monday, March 16, 2015 peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born May 28, 1934 in Spencer, West Virginia and resided in Elyria since 1953.
She was a homemaker and loved by the community well. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing, playing the piano and guitar and making her home warm and welcoming.
She was a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Elyria and of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 431in Elyria.
Rose had a very blessed life; she married the love of her life, Earl R. Sawyer and were married for 61 years. She gave birth to four daughters, Sheila Marie Jarrell of Marienville, Pennsylvania, Mary Ann Sawyer of Elyria, Susan Lynn (Aaron) Packard of Tallmadge, Lisa Dawn Sawyer of Elyria. She enjoyed four grandchildren, Larry Jarrell, Amanda Brown, Maiah and Evan Packard. She was additionally blessed to have two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ayden Jarrell. She was also survived by brothers, Donald D. of Titusville, Florida, John D. of Spencer, West Virginia and sister, Delores J. Lynch of Lilesville, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her father, Worthy F. Coe; mother, Leathy J. Coe (nee Webb); brothers, Jerold F., Herbert E., Lawrence E. and Harold A. Coe; sisters, Madeline G., Lucille A., Hazel C. and Anna L. Coe.
Her kindness and unconditional love for others was appreciated by many, the Lord welcomed home a beautiful Angel.
Friends may call Friday from 1PM until the time of services at 2PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce will officiate.
