Rose Mary Humenik's Obituary
Rose Mary Humenik (nee Gilbride), age 90, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born on April 14, 1928 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 5 years, moving from Wickliffe, where she had lived most of her life. Rose worked in retail sales at the Spartans and Big Lots discount stores in Wickliffe and was a past parishioner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Wickliffe.
Rose loved to study genealogy and was a Cleveland Indians fan.
She is survived by her daughters Diane Linch of North Ridgeville and Sharon Fagan of Longmont, CO; son, David of Longmont, Colorado; grandchildren, Jesse, Rebecca and Katherine Linch, Brian and Sarah Humenik; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sister, Helen Munshower of Rocky River; brother, Leo Gilbride of Strongsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Humenik; son, John E. Humenik; granddaughter, Erin Jones; brothers, Nelson, James, Maurice and Ed Gilbride; sisters, Rita Cestaric and Agnes Flaherty.
Friends may call Friday from 1PM until the time of services at 2PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Private inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
