Rose Marie Henson's Obituary
Rose Marie Henson (nee Jenkin), age 64, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Life Care of Westlake.
She was born in Elyria, and had resided there for 39 years. She previously lived in Grafton.
Rose graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1970 from the M.B. Johnson School of Nursing.
She worked as a Nursery Director and Pre-school teacher at First United Methodist Church in Elyria. She also worked as a poll worker for the Lorain County Board of Elections for several years.
She attended Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville and was a member of Westshore Mothers of Twins Club.
In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, making all kinds of crafts, reading and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Gerald; sons, Andrew (Katie) Henson of Pemberville, Timothy (Gretchen) Henson of Tiro, Geoffrey Henson of Charlotte, Michigan and his twin sister, Kimberly (Matt Bailey) Henson of Elyria; grandchildren, Karena and George Henson; and her sister, Betty Ann (Steve) Domino of Allen Park, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ruthella (nee Postle) Jenkin and sister, Mary Ann Reeves.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville and also on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM at Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville. Pastor Dan Reinke, a personal friend, will officiate.
Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
