Rory A. Carpenter's Obituary
Rory A. Carpenter, age 62, of Elyria passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2023, at his home. He was born in Lakewood and had lived in Elyria since 1972, formerly of Lakewood. He worked as an Associate in
Logistics for Morgan Services for 18 years. Rory enjoyed word searches, sculpting, locksmithing,
drawing, working with his hands, spending time with his family and had a love of God. He is survived by
his wife of 40 years Patricia; children Matt Carpenter of Elyria, Kaylynn Carpenter of Elyria; sisters
Darlene Houck of Elyria, Sharon (James) Westover of Kent; brother James (Linda) Carpenter of
Wakeman; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Rose Carpenter; brother Jerry Carpenter. Visitation Tuesday from 5:00 pm until the time of service at 7 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville.
