Ronnie D. Alexander's Obituary
Ronnie D. Alexander, age 77, passed away December 18, 2023 at his home in North Ridgeville. He was born in Tuscumbia, Alabama and had lived in North Ridgeville for 47 years. Ronnie was a police officer for the City of Cleveland for 26 years, before retiring in 1995. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1965-1969. Ronnie enjoyed playing golf, reading, watching TV, and his cat Zeke. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Paula (nee Walters), children Kelly Alexander of Parma, Paul Alexander of North Ridgeville, and Tammy Battaglia of North Ridgeville, grandchildren Andrew (Carley McGinty) and Hannah Battaglia, siblings Charlotte (James) Barvincak, Thomas (Barbara) Alexander, Barbara Lenchak, Helen (Robert) Garba, sister-in-law Carolyn Alexander and many nieces and nephews. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Julia (nee Inman) and Thomas Alexander, and brothers Charles (Donna) Alexander, Carl Alexander and brother-in-law, John Lenchak. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Friday at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
