Ronald Rathwell's Obituary
Ronald A. Rathwell, age 60, of Elyria, passed away Monday at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph Residential Center, Lorain, following a long illness.
He was born in Oberlin and was a lifetime resident of Lorain County.
Mr. Rathwell worked in environmental services at Community Health Partners in Lorain.
He enjoyed Nascar Racing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Dodson of Oberlin; daughters, Holly Paxton of Elyria, Bonnie Booth of Norwalk, Cheri Norris of Elyria, Sonya Dodson of Oberlin, Chrystal Link of Elyria; sons, Ronald Jr. of Oberlin, Cyrus Link of Cleveland, Ron Link of Elyria and Donald Link of Wesley Chapel, Florida; thirty grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Dodson of Oberlin; sisters, Karen Amenhauser, Barbara Sherrard and Donna Cain all of Oberlin, Gail Canada of Amherst. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra J. Rathwell in 2003.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home. Reverend John Tilley of Christian Life Church, Lorain will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
