Ronald R. Lee's Obituary
Ronald R. Lee, age 78, of North Ridgeville passed away Saturday July 5, 2025 at Mercy Health Lorain Hospital.
He was born in Cleveland and grew up in Parma. He had resided in North Ridgeville since 1978 after moving from Cleveland.
He served in the US Marine Corp in Vietnam and received the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Stars. He was a life member of VFW post 1974, Parma.
Ron was a Lineman for Ohio Bell, aka AT&T for 37 years, retiring in 2009. He also served as a Director of the CWA Union Local 4340.
He enjoyed hunting, camping and boating at Riverview Campgrounds in Vermilion, he loved cooking, but also enjoyed going out to lunch with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all of his grand dogs and cats.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Tracy (Kevin) Park of Chardon, Erika (Greg) Codner of North Ridgeville, grandchildren, Mikaylie, Madison (Alex Porter) Park, Gregory and Emma (Tyler Duff) Codner, his companion Lillian Pilat, sister Lynne Kovach of Westerville, sister-in-law Shirley Slaker, brother-in-law Matt (Beth Brill) Kearney and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 1/2 years, Diane M. Lee in 2022, father Robert Lee, mother Margaret Lee-Davies and stepfather Ronald Davies.
The family will receive friends Friday July 11, 2025 from 1 PM until time of funeral service at 4 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Inurnment with full military honors will take place 9:15 AM Monday July 14, 2025 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273.
