Ronald Lee LaFollette's Obituary
Ronald L. LaFollette, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on October 28, 2021 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born on January 15, 1944 in Glassport, Pennsylvania and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. He worked as a crane operator for General Motors, retiring after 35 years of service.
Ronald was an outdoorsman, and loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. Every spring he would look forward to going to the Home and Garden Show. While his children were in school, he was very involved in the North Ridgeville Hot Stove League as an umpire, and refereeing football games.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy (nee Ownbey); son Ronald LaFollette; daughters Tamela (Roger Bernsdorf) Arnold and Gina (Michael) Satterfield; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers Earl (Linda) LaFollette and William (Rose) LaFollette; sister-in-law Barb LaFollette; many nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Minnie and Shorty LaFollette; many brothers and sisters.
