Ronald Jindra's Obituary
Ronald J. Jindra, age 76, of Wakeman, formerly of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday January 25, 2010 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin following a long illness.
He was born in Cleveland. Resided in North Ridgeville most of his life until moving to Wakeman in 2002.
A US Air Force Veteran, he served during the Korean War 1952 until 1956.
Mr. Jindra owned and operated Westlake TrueValue Hardware Store in the 1970's and 80's. He previously worked for Schuenemann Electric in Westlake.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening and more recently wine making.
He was a former member of the Westlake chapter of the Optimist Club.
Survivors include his three sons, Frank of Columbia, Missouri, John (Louise) of Elyria and Jerald (Judy) Jindra of Wakeman, two daughters, Julie (Ken) Foor of New London and Jodie (Charles) Seasor of Elyria, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Preceding him in death are his wife Katherine in 1989, father, Frank Jindra, mother, Elizabeth Schaefer and brother Raymond Jindra.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where services will be held 11 AM Saturday. Reverend Bill Williams, Pastor of Church of the Open Door will officiate.
Private interment will take place in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
