Roger C. Thorpe's Obituary
Roger C. Thorpe, age 57, of Warrenton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Columbia Station and had been a resident of Warrenton since 2019. He previously lived in Vermilion, Chicago, and Knoxville.
Roger worked for Delta Faucet for 11 years, retiring in 2011.
He was an avid sports fans and enjoyed watching the Browns, Cavs, Indians, and Ohio State teams, he had a passion for fast old cars and racing.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Jo (nee Hall), brothers, Rev. Ronald Thorpe of Elyria, Russell (Traci) Thorpe of Grafton, sisters, Becky Workman of Atlanta, Georgia, Dorothy Keenan of Elyria, Brenda Thorpe of Parma Hts., Kristy (Frank) Di Ruggiero of North Royalton, Wendy (Daniel) Johnson of North Royalton and Jessica Green of Columbia Station.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Thorpe, father, Wendall “Humphrey” Thorpe and sister, Penny Thorpe.
The family will receive friends Thursday September 16 from 4-7 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio where services will be held 11 AM Friday September 17, 2021. His brother, Rev. Ronald Thorpe will officiate. Services will be live streamed on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page.
