Roderick Dean Heiskanen's Obituary
Roderick Dean Heiskanen, age 71, of Elyria Township, Ohio passed away Friday August 9, 2019 at his home.
Born in Hancock, MI, he had resided in Elyria Township the past 25 years after moving from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Roderick served in the US Army; he went on to work as an Electronics Technician for various companies.
He enjoyed water sports and was an accomplished mechanic having enjoyed working on cars for many years.
He is survived by his brother Gerald W. “Jerry” Heiskanen of Reno, Nevada and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Toivo and Gertrude (nee Bowers) Heiskanen.
Private burial will take place with his parents in Ontonagon, Michigan.
