Robert A. Rock's Obituary
Robert A. Rock, age 56, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Cleveland, grew up in Mentor and had lived in North Ridgeville, North Olmsted and Cleveland before moving to Elyria 3 years ago.
Robert worked as a die setter for JD Norman in Brooklyn. He also owned and operated S & A Scooters in North Ridgeville from 2006-2013.
He was an avid fisherman who loved riding motorcycles and scooters, golfing and camping with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra D. (nee McGhee); daughters, Krista Rock of Sophia, West Virginia, Amanda Rock of Wellington, Megan Rock of Sophia, West Virginia; sons, Matt of Morgantown, West Virginia, Jeremiah of Elyria; grandchildren, Haley Link and Brock Ferguson; brothers, Ronald Jr. of North Ridgeville, Randy (Mike) Rock of Columbus; sisters, Susan (Brian) Adams of Brooklyn, Barbara (Kent) Coger of Lakewood; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Geraldine (nee McMullen) Rock.
Friends may call Friday from 4PM until the time of Memorial Service at 5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
