Robert Orvis' Obituary
Robert M. Orvis, age 77, of Avon, passed away Tuesday at the Renaissance Health Center, Olmsted Twp. following a long illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Avon for the past 15 years.
Mr. Orvis served in the United States Navy during WWII.
He worked as a kitchen designer for Timberdoodle in Westlake.
He enjoyed gardening and designing cabinets.
Survivors include his daughters, Cindy Wallace and Lynne Urbanek both of Avon and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 1994; son, Mark in 2002 and his parents Alice (nee MacAllister) and Michael Orvisky.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Rev. Bill Shomo, will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery. VFW Post 9871 North Ridgeville will conduct full military honors.
