Robert W. Neuman's Obituary
Robert W. Neuman, age 72, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake, following a long illness.
He was born in Elyria and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1968.
Robert worked as a metallurgist for Foseco Metallurgical Inc. in Brookpark for over 35 years, retiring in 2004.
He was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and American Foundryman Association.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards was an avid fan of all Cleveland sports teams and The Ohio State University.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Beverley (nee Kraig) Neuman; son, Brian of Newton Falls; daughter, Beth (Ken) Krosky of Avon; grandchildren, Haley Veite, Grace, Sarah and Wyatt Neuman; brother, Dale (Dona) Neuman of Kansas City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Neuman and parents, Joseph and Mabel Neuman.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM followed by a 11:30 AM Mass at St. Julie’s Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Robert’s brother-in-law, Rev. Robert Kraig and Rev. George Vrabel, Pastor will concelebrate.
Private burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
