Robert Moorman's Obituary
Robert A. Moorman, age 77, of North Ridgeville passed away Tuesday July 30, 2013 at Century Oak Care Center in Middleburg Heights following a long illness.
He was born in Cleveland, where he lived for most of his life until moving to North Ridgeville in 1994.
Robert served in the US Army from 1955 to 1961.
He worked as a carpenter for over 30 years retiring in 1990. His last 10 years of work were with Gray Drug Stores.
He enjoyed bowling in the Senior League at Brunswick Lanes, fishing and traveling to casinos.
Mr. Moorman was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Babcock-Iris Lodge #600 in Cleveland. He was also a member of Carpenter Union Local 95.
Survivors include his wife and best friend of 54 years, Helene; daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Ilarsky of Cleveland; sisters, Patricia Gray of Florida and Arlene Planicka of Brunswick.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clayton and Josephine Moorman; brothers, James, Clayton and Larry; sister, Joanne Baginski.
Private services will be held.
Burial in Ridgeville Cemetery.
