Robert A. Masny's Obituary
Robert “Bob” A. Masny, age 78, passed away peacefully at his home in North Ridgeville on Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born in Joplin, MO, and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville.
In his earlier years, he was a self-employed trade worker and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed listening to the Indians on his old-school radio, reading historical fiction books, and savoring any and all types of black Licorice candy. His dry wit and sense of humor brought a smile to many of those he interacted with. He loved his family, and especially his grandson Connor beyond words.
He is survived by his wife Jo Ann (nee Duffy), daughters Meghan Masny of Akron, Colleen (Aaron) Bittner of Columbus, grandchildren Connor Thomas and Samantha Masny, sister Althea (Bob) Howe of CA, brother Joseph Masny of Olmsted Falls, Mike Masny of CO, Jennifer (Ken) Masny-Bushman of New Carlisle and nephews Rob, Bradley, and Nick.
Bob was preceded by his parents Dorothy (nee Poorbaugh) and Frank J. Masny, and his brothers Stan and Nick Masny.
There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:30 am at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
