Robert Kissell's Obituary
Robert J. "Bob" Kissell, 68, of North Ridgeville, died Friday May 23, 2008 at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland.
He was born November 29, 1939 in Detroit, MI. He had been a North Ridgeville resident for the past twenty-three years having moved form Cranberry Twp., PA.
Mr. Kissell retired in 2005 as an independent insurance agent. He had previously been employed as a regional manager with McCullagh Leasing Commercial Credit Co., covering five states. While living in Detroit, he was a reserve police officer for the city, and was then a North Ridgeville Police Auxiliary member for the past two years as well. He was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church, North Ridgeville, where he was an usher for many years. He was also a member of the West Branch Gun Club, Eaton Twp., and enjoyed playing golf.
Surviving is his wife of forty years, Janice (nee Christopher), son, Christopher (Michelle) of Wilmington, NC and aunt, Sara Bisesi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Helen Kissell and two infant daughters, Ann and Elizabeth Kissell.
Visitations will be from 2-4 and 7-9PM Tuesday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held at 9:30AM Wednesday. Mass will follow at 10:00AM at St. Julie Billiart Church, 5500 Lear Nagel Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Craig Hovanec will be the celebrant. Interment will be private.
