Robert Joyce's Obituary
Robert Joyce, 78, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home. He was born in DuBois, Pennsylvania and was a resident of North Ridgeville, since 1969 moving from Cleveland.
Robert worked as a roofer for Roofers and Waterproofers Union Local 44 in Cleveland for 32 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing softball.
Survivors include his wife 52 years, Joyce (nee Allen); daughters, Deanna (Rob) Vaughn of Elyria, Tammie (Barry) Stanton of Parma, Lori Joyce of Elyria, Doreen (Shaughn) Rice of Huntersville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Deubel, Amanda Horn, Krista Borum and Courtney Armaro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Myrtle Mae (nee Harris) Joyce; brothers, Thomas LeRoy Joyce and Paul Joyce and sister, Marlene "Cookie" (Ed) Poole.
Family will receive friends Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a funeral service will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10 A.M., Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
