Robert Johnston's Obituary
Robert K. Johnston, age 84, of North Ridgeville, died Tuesday at Center Ridge Nursing Home following a brief illness.
He was born in Glouster, OH and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1945.
Mr.. Johnston worked 35 years as a plant manager for the Fruhauf Trailer Company, Avon Lake. He retired in 1986 .
He enjoyed golf and wood carving..
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Barbara (nee Jennings) Johnston; daughter, Jill Johnston, of North Ridgeville; son, Eric Johnston, of Perry, OH; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents; James and Ella (nee Kassler) Johnston and brothers, Max and Yondel Johnston.
The David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, handled arrangements.
