Robert Jaram's Obituary
Robert L. Jaram, age 79 of North Ridgeville died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Lakewood Hospital following a short illness.
He was born March 17, 1926 in Mount Pleasant, PA. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 51 years. He had previously lived in Elyira and Avon.
He served in the US Army Air Corp during WW II. He was a member of the VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville.
Mr. Jaram was a Building Inspector for the City of North Ridgeville for 30 years retiring in 2000. He had previously worked at Fruehauf Trailer in Avon Lake for 22 years.
Mr. Jaram always put his family first, he also enjoyed vegetable gardening, horses, being active with 4H and watching sports.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean (nee Lowstetter), Son, Dan, daughter, Barb Walls all of North Ridgeville; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brother Glen Jaram of North Ridgeville; Sister, Leona Laughner of Jeanette, PA.
He was preceded in death by Daughter, Cindy Meadows in 2001, Parents, Edward and Alice Jaram, three brothers, Eugene, Donald and Wayne Jaram, four sisters, Mary Jane Miller, Kathleen Snyder, Lois Jaram and Anna Mae Neiderhiser..
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9, Sunday, April 10 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the funeral home, Reverend C. Michael Gibson, Pastor of Fields United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
The VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors at the cemetery.
