Robert Lawrence Guggenbiller's Obituary
Robert L. Guggenbiller, age 70, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his home.
He was born on September 19, 1951 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. He was a United States Navy Veteran and went on to work in electrical/maintenance at Willoway Nursery in Avon, retiring in 2014 after 20 years of service. Robert was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, working crossword puzzles, woodworking and was everyone’s handyman.
Robert is survived by his wife of 46 years, Helen; son Mathew (Carrie) Guggenbiller of Norfolk, Virginia; daughter Tricia Guggenbiller of Lakewood; grandchildren Joshua and Valerie; siblings Leo (Glenna) Guggenbiller, William Guggenbiller, Trish (Richard) Smith, Mark Guggenbiller, Jerry (Donna) Guggenbiller and Paul Guggenbiller.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Jean (nee Wood) Guggenbiller; brother Michael Guggenbiller.
Memorial Mass Friday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Saturday, August 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Redtail Golf Club Event Center, 4400 Lear Nagle Road, Avon, Ohio 44011.
