Robert Frewen's Obituary
Robert F. "Ron" Frewen, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Palm Sunday, April 9th, 2006 at Saint John Westshore Hospital, Westlake.
Ron was born in Dublin, Ireland.
He had lived in North Ridgeville the past 20 years; having moved from Jackson, MI.
He was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville and a long time member of the Knights of Columbus.
He worked in Electrical Engineering for the Morrison and Knudson Engineering Firm, Cleveland and retired in 1993. He also worked part-time at Saint Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville and retired from there two years ago.
He enjoyed fishing, playing the organ and piano
Mr. Frewen is survived by his wife Ellen "Enda" (nee O'Leary); three sons, Ray (Deena) Frewen, of Chicago, IL, Rory Frewen, of Charlotte, NC and Tony (Lori) Frewen, of Jackson, MI; daughters, Pat (Tom) Brainard, of Columbus, OH, Erin (Patrick) Dunne, of Charlotte, NC, and Robyne (Doug) Bachelor, of Groton, MA; fifteen grandchildren; sister, Grace O'Doherty, of Dublin, Ireland.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Sarah (nee O'Neill) Frewen; brothers, Rory and Gerard; sister, Maura Bowring.
The family will receive friends at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday where prayers will be said on Thursday at 9:30 AM. The funeral service will follow at 10 AM at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Father Stephen Kaminski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery.
